And...life goes on

So, everyone knows by now about the shooting yesterday here. It's truly a tragic thing, and so unexpected. I find the SWAT team really scary, and I didn't see why we needed a tank..but anyway, the weirdest thing that happened yesterday(besides the shooting) is that my alarm clock did NOT go off. So I woke up when sunlight was streaming through my window, and I was like..Something's not right...OH NOES I AM LATE FOR CLASS!!! I had no time to do anything but get dressed and run down 14 flights of stairs to go to chem. Since I was late, I ran really quickly and did not go my usual way to class....which would have been where the shooter was....freaky I know x.X
I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have hurt me, since he did have the chance to shoot people but only shot at them w/o hitting anyone, but I would have still been very freaked out. I know a girl hurt her ankle trying to run away from the guy, and Connor's friend was being chased up and down the stairs at the library by him. I don't think I could go on with my life if I had actually seen this guy T_T
But anyway, no one got hurt except the shooter himself, so I'm really thankful for that. It's also kinda scary that just the day before, Phillip and I were at the same library..except I was on the 5th, not the 6th.
So, I just really want to thank God for doing something to my alarm clock which caused me to wake up late and take another path to class.
My friends and I were locked in a building for awhile, but then we got to go back home. My friends lived on-campus so they were locked out, and so I let them stay with me for like 3 hours. I feel really bad for my roommate and Linda, since they were stuck in a basement for 3 hours and were told they couldn't talk in the dark.
Well, everything is back to normal now. I'm going to try and avoid the library though.
I did well on my Bio test!!! Of course, I did badly in Stats, but I will be kicking Stats' butt. Just watch :D
