I've learned a lot this summer and I'm so grateful. Instead of being the 16 year old that Joyce says I am, I have grown up enough to be considered an 18 year old. Woot. Not that far behind my real age, yessss. Oh, I just watched The Glee Proejct. My reaction = Um, okay then. What a mess of show, haha. Anyways, amongst the lessons I learned during my trip to Asia is that there really is plenty of fish in the sea. Smart alecks like to point out that the population of real fish has been declining due the oil spill last year, but c'mon, seriously. There's a lot of guys out there. Single guys. The world is bigger than you think. When life sucks, go to another country if you can. You will come back wiser and refreshed, I promise.
I am capable of anything I put my mind to. I am beautiful. I am capable of attracting men. I am not destined to become a crazy-cat lady. Don't settle for anyone.
I am terribly jetlagged.
Oh my dear! I am glad that at least your optimism has increased over the past few weeks. Just make sure to remember those words when you are feeling at your lowest point during the upcoming school year.
